3rd November 2021, Correos has presented the stamp of the series Events that commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Faculty of Information Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid.
The event was attended by the Director of Philately at Correos, Jordi Escruela Soldevila, and the Dean of the Faculty of Information Sciences at the UCM, Jorge Clemente Mediavilla, among others. At the end of the meeting, both carried out the traditional postmark of honour.
Created in 1971, the Faculty of Information Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid is the university centre that has trained the most communication professionals in our country throughout its history.
In this sense, more than 60,000 people have studied the branches of Audiovisual Communication, Journalism and Advertising and Public Relations, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level, with 9 official master’s degrees and 12 own degrees.
