Psychologists from the University Complutense of Madrid (UCM) have prepared a guide for the care of minors in the Russian-Ukrainian war

On 24 March, a team of 12 psychologists from the Complutense University of Madrid, in collaboration with the Official School of Psychology of Madrid (COP Madrid), published a manual on “Minors living in war”.

The manual aims to provide psychological strategies and guidelines to help minimise the impact of the war in Ukraine on people, especially children and adolescents.

María Paz García-Vera, Professor of Clinical Clinical Psychology at UCM, explains that “we created this guide to create an umbrella for children who live there and hear the explosions every day, as well as for children who see images of war.
