UCM ENTIENDE, workshops in response to student demand

The Office of Sexual Diversity and Gender Identity (ODSIG) of the Complutense University of Madrid is planning three workshops under the name UCM ENTIENDE, “aimed at responding to the needs of the LGBTIQ+ UCM student community in a safe, transgender inclusive and experimental space”.

Melani Penna, coordinator of ODSIG, reported that these workshops will take place on Monday 28 March, Wednesday 30 March and Friday 1 April at the Somosaguas campus and aim to “build communities, networks and alliances to achieve a higher level of well-being and care”.

These workshops cover how the LGBT community at the University should respond in the face of discrimination conveyed by graffiti; lgtbfóbicas violence issues and sexism, etc
