Complutense becomes one of the venues of the International Cutre Film Festival for the first time
February 21, 2022

For the first time, Complutense University, and in particular the Faculty of Information Sciences, will be one of the venues for CutreCon, the International Cutre Film Festival in Madrid, now in its 11th edition. Javier Rivero Estévez, of the Faculty’s Communications Office, explains that our university is joining the most important pedagogical part of the festival.

Director Carlos Palencia defines CutreCon, which takes place from 23 to 27 February, as “an anti-film festival, a kind of parody of film festivals, because we are looking for the worst things, but as long as they are funny, unintentional comedies, this is better than bad films, because they don’t bore you”.

This year’s theme was dinosaurs. The festival takes place in the School of Information Science on February 23 at 11am and admission is free until it reaches full capacity.
