Objectives

  • To train professional teachers with professional competencies to adapt to current pedagogical developments in the parameters of educational sciences
  • To refine the initial training of professional teachers by providing them with quality education as defined by the United Nations in the Sustainable Development Goals.

Specific objectives:

  • To discuss the main educational models in the global context, their challenges and possible alternatives;
  • To understand the current status of new technologies in education and communication, in particular to analyse their impact on current learning models;
  • To gain insight into the different initiatives taken by educational centers and institutions to adapt to the new conditions of the information society;
  • To provide students with the necessary research and evaluation tools to analyze classroom interventions;
  • To understand the innovative trends applied to different specific pedagogies;
  • To promote teaching and learning in STEM environments, adapted to the 4.0 revolution that characterises our globalized society.

This Formation program is designed to offer quality training for teachers or future teaching professionals in order to adapt to the educational reality of the 21st century, defined in terms of Revolution 4.0 and the VUCA environment (Vulnerability, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity).

The program is divided into six modules with the common component of developing innovative teaching methods, intensive use of technology and typical scientific research of Educational Sciences in the classroom. At the end of the program, students will be prepared to teach in any environment in a manner consistent with SDG objective number 5, "Quality education", defined by the UN.
