A total of 15 plays, performed by 12 different companies, are taking place this year during the XXV University Theater Contest of the UCM. The event is held in the Faculties of Philology and Philosophy auditorium until the 31st of May.
On this occasion, in addition to the plays participating in the contest, there are also two plays for demonstration, which will not be evaluated by the jury. They’re respectively staged by Chamaeleo and Teatruko.
University theater generates passion, especially among those who participate in this enriching experience, as stated by Teatruko. They emphasize the essence of “being able to make theater not only involves learning about this theatrical world but also establishing connections with very different people and creating“.
