The Shanghai Academic Ranking has published its data for 2022 in academic subjects.

The  Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Complutense University  of Madrid  ranks 15th in the classification  by subjects of the ARWU ( Academic Ranking of World Universities ), occupying the second position in Spain.

The Complutense, which has been included in 28 of the 54 academic subjects, also stands out  among the top 100 in Dentistry  (76-100) and first in Spain; and among the top 150 in Mathematics (101-150); Biomedical Engineering (101-150) and first in Spain; in Food Science and Technology (101-150) and in Tourism (101-150). The  Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) publishes a ranking of the best universities worldwide that measures the quality of each degree. The Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) contains university rankings in 54 subjects from Natural Sciences, Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences and Social Sciences. More than 1,800 of the 5,000 universities from 96 countries and regions finally appear in the ranking. The rankings use a series of objective academic indicators and third-party data to measure the performance of global universities in relevant subjects, including research output (Q1), research influence (CNCI), international collaboration (IC) , the quality of the research (Top) and the international academic prizes (Award).
